The "POPA" museum from Târpești was founded by the popular creator Neculai Popa. His collections include objects of archeology, numismatics, ethnography, religious objects, icons, naive painting. To these are added creations of the craftsmen Neculai and Elena Popa: masks, costumes for winter shows, wood and stone carving.
